Lessons in Post: Study #1 –
"Adventures of a Teenage Dragonslayer" Moderated by Eric Renz - Whitmore

Adventures of a Teenage Dragonslayer is not only a great example of local independent production, it's also a project that brought together many elements of our local post-‐production community. In fact, the full-‐ length feature was quite possibly the largest post-‐production job to be completed in New Mexico, with very few elements being completed out of state. Picture editorial, over 200 visual effects shots, color correction, score, music licensing, sound design and 5.1 theatrical sound mix were all done in New Mexico. Join us as the Dragonslayer post team discusses their experience and lessons learned.

12:15-1:30pm - lunch - BYO

Bring your own or find a local vendor of your choosing. Just be back on time. We are running a tight schedule.

In this session he'll focus on what current feature and TV markets are looking for in their visual effects.

After the screening, panelists Reuben Finkelstein (Editor, Actor) and David Garcia (Colorist) will be on hand to discuss the workflow through post, including lessons learned while making this beautiful film. For more information on the film itself, look for them on facebook.
