***MISP-EVENTS-L is an announcement only listserv*** *
Quick reminder...

For those of you developing software or hardware, or otherwise in technology development and looking for funding, tomorrow's "WedTech" at the Santa Fe Complex is for you.

Hi everyone...

Looking for funding to build your tech business? Northern New Mexico Connect's Venture Acceleration Fund is accepting applications for up to $100K in support, but the deadline is September 1st. Join us at WedTech this Wednesday to learn more about submitting a successful application.

Also, as something of an experiment, we're asking attendees for this WedTech to sign up beforehand - especially - if you'd like us to pre-order your food. Look for details in the link below.

TITLE:  Venture Acceleration Fund

SPEAKER:  Belinda Padilla and the team from Northern New Mexico Connect

WHEN:  Wednesday, August 18th 12:30 - 1:30 PM

WHERE:  Santa Fe Complex, 632 Agua Fria, Santa Fe

Part of the Santa Fe Complex mission is to create opportunities for the people and companies in our community to maximize their potential. One of the best programs available - and most suited for the kinds of work we do - is the Los Alamos National Laboratories' Venture Acceleration Fund.

The Fund invests in creating and growing Northern New Mexico businesses that have an association with LANL technology or expertise. VAF provides investments up to $100,000 which are directed at taking technology projects and business to the next level. This includes proof-of-concept, prototyping, securing initial customers or additional funding.

Join the team behind the Venture Acceleration Fund for info on what it covers and how to improve your chances for funding.
