[MISP] for release

Nina Knapp, local indie filmmaker, has found a unique way to help finance her films: Reel Food From Reel Women.  Reel Food... is a collection of favorite recipes from women in the entertainment industry from New Mexico to Los Angeles to New York.  What makes this cookbook unique is that it includes the biographies of these women - many of whom you will recognize, and many you will get to know.  Reel Food From Reel Women is in full color, fun to read with easy and delicious recipes; check out the reviews on Amazon.com and view a few sample pages.

Purchases can be made at http://reelrecipes.com, or at Amazon.com.

Some of the contributors are Katherine Fugate (creator of "Army Wives" on Lifetime, and screenwriter for many feature films such as VALENTINE'S DAY, CAROLINA, and more), Claudia Christian (sci fi fans will know her from "Babylon 5" but she has also appeared on TV series such as "Nip/Tuck", has appeared in many feature films, and voice-over work in many animations), Nisha Ganatra (writer/director of CHUTNEY POPCORN), Safiya Songhai (who worked on Spike Lee's "When the Levees Broke"), Adrienne Wilkinson (has appeared in numerous TV series - including as Eve/Livia on "Xena" - a number of films and is the woman behind the character Maris Brood in "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" and many other games),  and many, many more.

Local contributors are Anne Stirling, Ty Beh, Catherine Fridey and Nina Knapp.  Many of Knapp's local friends also provided recipes to round out the wide variety of recipes offered in this book.

By purchasing a book, you will help support an independent filmmaker, working in New Mexico.

Sincerely,
Nina Knapp
