Hi folks...
Quick post/pre-holiday wishes to all -- and a reminder that
conversations between two people shouldn't be broadcast to 400+
people.
Thanks also to Ziad for adding the misp listserv feed to the
tamalewood blog.
In the meantime, a few updates on community sites and places that are
bringing folks together:
First, the MISP listserv also lives at our Google Groups site here:
http://groups.google.com/group/nm-media-industries
with pages and additional information about the Media Industries
Strategic Plan (http://groups.google.com/group/nm-media-industries/web?
hl=en)
and a few enhanced abilities for users to manage the info they both
provide and receive.
The main MISP site is still at: http://www.altmedianm.org
Other blogs in film you might visit are:
http://www.crewnewmexico.com
http://www.filmnewmexico.com
For those of us in the game world, we have the official Rio Grande
IGDA site at: http://groups.google.com/group/riogrande-igda?hl=en
In the post-production world, there are a few:
Post Production Professionals are on
Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/inbox/?ref=mb#/group.php?gid=99160775226
Linked In: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=1245267&trk=hb_side_g
Adobe Groups (+): http://www.nmaug.com/
There still doesn't seem to be a good single place to look for media
jobs at the moment... but if you know of more good ones please share.
